Hi Reggie, I have been trying, but I am very new to Genealogy and Computers, I have been on a Family History Internet Course but I have not as yet been able to find out anything on my Fathers side. I have quite a lot on my mothers side but that is because I had relatives to get information from. I am very grateful for the help I have been given but I am not sure what to do with it, where to go from here and what to do next? I was thinking of joining a local History Society, the East Yorkshire Family History Society (eyfhs) maybe they would have a record of the family in Hull? I have been to The National Archives at Kew which is near where I live, and to "Who Do You Think You Are" at Olympia in London. But unless you know what you are doing you end up with nothing very positive. I am very grateful for the help you have given to me. :-) |

I am trying to find out about my Father who's family were Trawler Owners in Hull & Grimsby in the 20th Century (Hudson Fishing Co Ltd). Ideally I would like to see a photo of him (Alfred Hudson) just to see what he looked like. I am sure he must have had other descendants which would be of interest to me as well. :-) |

Any of these could have served in WW2......and that's assuming he was born in the area around HULL |

No chance of help without a birth year for the man. |

Trying to trace Alfred Hudson, his family were Trawler Owners in Hull & Grimsby in the 20th century. Alfred Hudson was stationed in Belfast Northern Ireland during WW2. Am interested in Ancestors and descendants of the family as well. |
