finding George

I dont think i am intelligent enough to understand this site and how it truly works, my reasons for joining is my quest to find George my biological father. Lived and grow up in folkstone area married briefly in Northallerton in yorkshire in the early to mid 60,s, worked for a short time in the late 60,s in Northern Ireland. any advice or tips from you smarter users would be gratefully excepted thank you, john

Is your biological father named on your birth certificate?

Researching:
Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

thanks to lolly for the advice on coming back to this page, thanks for all your relies folks , George Howell born south of england approx 1939 was married briefly to a lady from Northallerton Yorkshire in the early 60s and spent some in Northern Ireland late 60s. ta again folks john

On your other post (please delete it, to comply with site rules) you say you are looking for his children - your half-siblings.

Maybe there aren't any..............

And unless they were legitimate, you couldn't trace them, anyway

Have you put this man's details in search trees to see whether any other GR member is researching him?

That is the first place to go to find any possible contacts

BTW - was the marriage you mention to your mother?

Scrub the idea of search trees - it'll be no use until you have accurate birth info

Where did you get the 'info' about the when and where? I ask because I can't see one matching the details you've given

Nor is there a marriage in North Yorkshire between 1920 and 1977

Reggie thanks for the replies. things have developed somewhat since i last posted. I have discovered his marriage his first daughter and son, his second marriage and his next 2 daughters and son and all the history and places of events match into the stories i have been told since i found that i was adopted. There are too many matches for this man not to my biological father the facts speak for themselves m8...........hopefully when my contact mails have been answered then i will post more good news.....thanks again John ;-)
