my name is margaret ann read born nov 17th 1955. im looking for my birth mother LENORAH READ of milton street sheffield? i believe she was born in 1916. can anyone help me?

If she was born as early as that, I rather fear she will no longer be with us.

It may also be that she had/has other family who are not aware of you, and posting info about the lady on this insecure site would not be considered discreeet

The only info I could find was on FmyP, Lenorah Read born Oct-Dec Qtr. 1916. Registration District: Ecclesall Bierlow, County: Yorkshire. Vol 9C Page. 658 mothers maiden name Rutherford.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Perhaps ( but we have no idea :-S )

but I have sent her Lenorah's siblings & contact data
she may get at least a photo from the descendants of her birth mum's siblings.


Perhaps buy the death certificate for medical info
plus the house she lived in, there may be kin like nieces/nephews still there
