John James (also known as Jack) was born in Liverpool on 8th May 1927 to Mary (also known as Molly) Cleary, formerly Sharps and James Connor of 46 Eastbourne Street, Liverpool. His birth was registered in both names as Mary was not divorced from her first husband Edwin Cleary. Mary died on 25th December 1943 and her youngest son Noel was put into an orphanage but it is not known what happened to John James/Jack Cleary. My mother is their half sister and it would be great to know what happened to him and if he has any family, especially as Noel has no knowlwedge of his brother, he was under 2 when his mother died. |
