janette sandford, my sister adopted at birth

I'm trying to find my older sister who was adopted after birth, the name on her birth certificate i believe was Janette Sandford. our parents names are Shirley Elizabeth Sandford and John Francis Wells. If any1 has any details please do not hesitate to contact me. I am 1 of 2 brothers who have missed out on knowing our sister, please help if possible.

Have you registered on the national adoption register? She may well register there if looking for her birth family.
Also try 'search trees' above.
However, you really need to confirm her birth name first. I am wondering why she was not registered as a Wells?
If you have a rough idea of when & where she was born hopefully her birth record can be found.

I am not seeing a marriage for your parents was it in England or wales

There is a Sandiford marriage in yorkshire but the middle names are wrong

Was your mother married before? Is she still alive dont want to say too much if so

Its Ireland so no records E/W indexes.

I found the different marriage in Hampshire but that couple are still together up till 2011

If it is Ireland not much point looking at the BMD's

Have been informed parents married in armagh but have searched Ireland records and can't find any info. Maybe someone else will have better luck but without rough dates I would say it's going to be time consuming
