Hi Russell,
The 'Ryerson Index' (on-line) has (newspaper) death records to almost present day. I noticed a 'Terrence William Webb' d 25/9/2011 in Hobart Tasmania - age 76yrs. Notice in 'Hobart Mercury' ..27/28/9/2011
There is also a Sharon Josephine Elizabeth Webb d 27/2/2011 age 56yrs. Notice in 'Hobart Mercury' 5/3/2011
Also a 'Mark Webb' d 2/8/2010 notice in 'Hobart Mercury' 4/8/2010.

Ryerson's will do 'look-ups' from the 'Hobart Mercury' for given dates ... hopefully they may not ALL be yours. Notices should give clues ...and possibly family names to work on.

The 'National Library of Aus' (Canberra) has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line) they can check the electoral rolls for you ...and see if they can be found from arrival (try & give approx years of arrival)... and if they went to Hobart etc.

You have not said any dates, just 'a long time ago' which could be 100 years, so when?
How are they related to your Grandfather?
Have you looked to see if anyone has them in their trees on here?

If you think they are in Australia, it would be better to put that as part of your title, rather than Sussex
