	His name was not changed after birth as he married in 1968 in Worthing and divorced around 1972 under his birth name. (From a pm) His Mother Helena appeared to have married Mr Mannion in 1952, and the link that Rose posted was to her death where no children are mentioned.

	He's on Ancestry ( did wonder if Geoffrey was spelled differently but its not) Q1, 1942, Leicester Looks to be an only child Son of Sydney & Helena?

	I found the wrong Geoffrey A Marriott, as the one I found had been married since 1965. There is another Geoffrey A Marriott showing on 192.com electoral register in Nottingham for 2002-2003, and 2006, but there is no indication that he is the correct age: http://www.192.com/atoz/people/marriott/geoffrey/
