Could anybody help me with my Cornish searches. I have William Wilmot Peters death certificate dated 1887 in Liverpool. He is shown as 68 although on the census returns his age alters and I would think his year of birth could be 1805-1815. Place of birth alters too, but Falmouth, Cornwall noted more frequently. I think I have his marriage: William Peters/Elizabeth Hodge, St.Gluvia's, nr.Falmouth in l837 (no Wilmot) and I think I have his 1841 Census in Wendron, Helston with his two daughters Elizabeth and Mary. He was a stonemason. On the 1851 census, he has a new wife and two more children, and now lives in Liverpool. Can anybody help me find earlier records of my William "Wilmot" Peters? I thought the unusal first name would help but I'm having no luck. |
