EDIT ignore, I see his birth was def. 1957 and nowhere near! Will leave to prevent othes making the same error.

Where was he born Janet? Putting this as matches name, though different birth year obviously:

Thanks Rose for looking. He will be 54/55 years old now. His mother was jean Goodman then Bird but my have remarried. They left the UK in the early 60,s after a marriage breakup. Regards Janet.

Could be Jean remarried and Stephen's surname changed then.

You might want to add Australia to the title.

Yes that could be it. but don't know how to look for marriage in Australia, I have looked in the UK but now sign of Jean Marrying. Regards Janet.
