Sorry i just reread what i posted and it did jump a bit..... I think my brain is protesting. it should say her son was Brian Leslie Frost. Her Husband was Norman leslie. (I do wish my family would be more original on names it would be easier to keep track )

I think Brian has died or moved on as i managed to track his listed address to 2008 when it was sold with no upper chain which sounds a bit ominous. I've contacted the estate agent in the hope that they have any information as to where to go next. but im cluching at straws really.

There is only one marriage for a Norman L. Frost, but it's in Kent - have you found this?

I got the death certificate for Eliza which listed her daughter Edith Frost as her NOK. Unfortunately Edith Frost died in 2005 but her death certificate listed her son as Norman Leslie Frost (born 1933 Birmingham). I tried directory enquiries but they have no listing under his last address. They did give me the only Frost listing in Sutton Coldfield but she is not related to the Frosts Im looking for.

I checked out Brians siblings and have two possible others who are David J Frost (born 1938 Birmingham) and Margaret E Frost (b1929 Birmingham) but i can get no further on either of them

Does any one have any further ideas or can anyone help me to pin down any information on Brians siblings. If Brian has died how can i find out information after 2005.

Thank you both for your help. I have tried the connections on here but so far they seem to be distant links and have no knowledge of the family I'm looking for.
Thank you for suggesting and finding the death certificate reference. I can't imagine why I didn't think of doing that earlier. Ill send off for it tonight. Can't tell you how grateful I am for the point in the right direction Jan. :-D

If Jax' suggestion doesn't result in any matches, have you considered getting the death cert? The name of the informant might help you. It should have address too.

Have you tried to find any connections in the search trees on this site?

I am looking for the descendants of Eliza Thompson born 1880 Wednesbury and Joseph Roberts 1882 Birmingham. They married in 1907 in Aston and had , I believe, 4 children - Edith Roberts 1909, Hilda E roberts 1911, Frederick A Roberts 1915 and Dora Roberts 1918 all born in Aston. In 1911 the family were living in Alfred Street, Aston Manor but then I lose them. Eliza died in about 1976 In Aston so the family may still be local

I think a couple of the children may have died young but I know one girl at least survived to adult hood. I do not know who any of them married to or how many children they had.

I am looking for them because I have inherited a load of old family photos from Elizas nephew and one of the photos is of Eliza, Joseph and the 4 children. The photo is taken in 1919 approx and shows Joseph in his WW1 uniform. It is a beautiful photo and i would love the descendants to get a copy of what their parents / grandparents looked like. I also have a photo of Elizas parents taken c1860 which my sister managed to restore as well as other relatives if they are interested.

Can anyone help or does anyone know who they are and can pass on a message to contact me via this site. They are the last ones to track down and i am totally stuck. Thanks
