I am searching for a Patricia Sly b.1935 who was married to a Francis Sly in 1958. Maiden name may have been Worth. We may be related. Any info. welcom.

Thank you for your reply. I have found this person already on the records, but am trying to locate where she may be now or if she is still living. I have tried 192.com but records are ex directory and do not show on a free basis. Will probably sign up for some credits to view.

You say that you 'may' be related......as you aren't sure of her maiden name, what connection do you think there could be?

I have established that Patricia Sly was Patricia M. Worth who was the daughter of Alice Susands and Charles Worth. Patricia b. 1935 would be my second cousin (this is confirmed as Patricia's mothers maiden name was Susands which is my connection). Also there are two sisters, Joyce and Joan. I have found Patricia was married to a Francis Sly in 1958, but haven't confirmed this as the correct Patricia Worth. I wanted to trace her because there is a chance she is still living being just 9 years older than myself.

I am sorry if I seem pretty naive about these searches, but I do try my best to find information first before going onto threads.

Right.....I remember your thread about the Worth/Susands offspring

To ascertain that the Patricia who married in 1958 is indeed the correct lady, you could obtain the marriage cert, which would include her father's details.

There is also a marriage in Essex in 1961 for Patricia M Worth to Jackman

You do need the cert to avoid following the wrong line ..............


BTW, the only records on Ancestry for Francis J Sly are two marriages.........no birth, so it would seem that he was't born in England/Wales......

There appears to have been one child from the Sly/Worth union...........
