Find Living Relatives

Hi

I'm trying to find the above, who are the daughters of Geoffrey Armstrong and Irene Calori. They were born in 1942 and 1944/5 and would be my second cousins. Family contact was lost in the late 1950s when my family emigrated to Canada.

Any help would be appreciated.

The only listings for them on genesreunited were taken from my tree, and I've tried friends reunited. I have tried looking up marriages for both of them, but without much success - the one lead that I thought was possible came to a dead end.

If you buy Geoffrey's death cert. one of them might be an informant.

Irene married again in 1947. Did they take her 2nd husband's name?

Gillian was registered under Bodman AND Armstong in 1945. She was then re-registered under Bodman in 1961.

Looks like they both took the surname Bodman.

It would really help if you told us EVERYTHING you know so we don't spend time and effort on this.

Thank you all for your replies. It was not my intention to get people to look for information. I simply wanted to know if anyone knew them through a family connection - perhaps through a family tree that isn't listed online. I should have been clearer in my original request.

Yes, Flick, that is the marriage I was referring to and also found the husband on his own on 192.com. I found a child from that marriage born in June qtr 1970 Oxford - Rainer Marina Holmes. No marriage record found for her. I also found a death record for a Gillian Holmes in Dec 2000 Sheffield.

I hadn't thought of buying Geoff's death certificate - good idea - but as his wife died 19 years after he did I had assumed (I should NEVER assume) that she was the informant.
