Find Living Relatives

Annie was my grandmother. She died in 1938 in Yorkshire. Her Father was John King, a whitesmith by trade. She had, I believe, 5 siblings including a sister called Alice. I never knew her so I am trying to find out more about her and her life. Can you help, please?

Pm received:
Annie King, of 5 Belle View Parade, Scarborough, married Abel Sawden on 13 Sep 1890. One of the witnesses was Alice King but Annie's mother and sister were both called Alice so I don't know which one it was.
Abel was about 70 when they married and Annie about 24. It appears that Annie soon afterwards ran off with Abel's son Charles and had two children with him, one of whom was my father.
It is a strange story and that is why I would like to get to know more about them all. My father never spoke about his parents and it is all a bit of a mystery.

So the Annie that I found in 1891 was Abel's daughter Annie not his wife Annie, who incidentally was younger than his daughter. Didn't take long for his wife to run off with his son then? Weren't they just married in 1890?

Goodness! Thankyou all so much. I am very new to this forum so I am very pleased to get your advice. Thankyou Pat.
Wilfred was my father. His birth certificate shows his father to be Charles Sawden and his mother Annie Sawden nee King.
I struggled for a long time, without success, to find their marriage and have come to the conclusion that they never married. Would there be a need? Annie was already Mrs Sawden and, perhaps signicantly, Charles doesn't feature at all in Abel's Will and Abel was quite a wealthy man.
To add to the confusion Abel's youngest child was also an Annie and much the same age as Annie King.
I was hoping that somewhere someone might be able to fill in the period since 1911 and maybe even have a picture.

Believe it or not Abel's first wife, the mother of his daughter Annie, was herself an Annie. It has been very confusing and, as you can see, apparently a bit naughty!!
