Having completed my own family tree,I thought I might do my partner's.Only I spoke to his Dad and he couldn't give me any info.Any more RANWELL'S out there? |

Does your partner's Dad not know the names of his parents - as that is where you need to start? |

Ask your father in law if you can have a look at his birth certificate - that will give you his parent's names. Then you can find their marriage on freebmd.org, on order it. That will give the names of their fathers, or possibly find them on the 1911 census. |
