My grandfather left his wife and family living in Watford, at the end of WW1 and he tried to marry bigamously. He was demoted in the Manchester Regiment and served one month in prison in the Manchester area for this offence around 1920.He was at this time living at 32 Randolph St. Levenshulme, Manchester. |
