Marriage certificates normally only give names of Fathers, not Mothers.
Do you think that the 1841 census I posted was correct?

Hi Everyone,
A big thanks for your response and useful tips. I have all the details of Mary's marriage to Louis Levi including their marriage certificate and all the details of the Levi family to the present day.
I have also gone further back to Louis's great grand father but know nothing about Mary other than the name of her parents. (The marriage certificate gave me those details)
Louis's father Elias married Ann mendes who origonated in Portugal, fled to Venice where the family became famous for cutting Murano Glass.
(The Jewish research was my first priority)
Now I would like to find out about the other side!
