It seems you have been on quite a journey Dean. Such a shame that the street where he lived has been demolished. It must have been an emotional time for you. |

Went to visit Burnley yesterday. Found spot were my father was cremated and had a few quite minutes with him. Visited his old address at North Strret which has just been demolished so unable to ask any neighbours about him. Then went to Library searched Electoral Register and found that he only lived there 1995-1998 unfortunately ALONE!!! Got a copy of his obituary from the local paper which apparently added that he was known locally as "Leeds Ted" |

Again thanks for all replies to my plight. I have a copy of his death cert which shows the person registering his death as a Susan Carol Rawstron who I believe was probably a nurse! He re-married again in 1967 to a Kathleen Ellis/Bell a divorcee whose birth name was Bell. His address at death was 29 North Street, Burnley which unfortunately the whole street is boarded up awaiting demolition so I can't even talk to possible neighbours. Can't find any children between them. Going to Burnley Fri to see where he is cremated and look through local electoral registers for his old address to see if I can come up with anything. Will keep you all updated and anything else anyone can help me with will be much appreciated |

I hope that the person who gave you so much help actually sees your very belated response. |

There is a likely birth on freebmd for his second wife - in the name under which she was married to him |

Who was the informant on the death certificate, and in the death announcements in the local newspaper were any children mentioned? |

Thanks for all the above, I already have the information you have given. Colin Glynn was my father and he died in 1998. However I know he remarried in 1967 after divorcing my mother and I was just wondering if he had any more children. Thanks, Dean |
