My Nephew, Freddie Osborne was shot down in his Lancaster Bomber, 103 Squadron flying out of Elsham Wolds base, in 1945. His Parents, Fred and Grace, from South Kensington, London, were so deeply upset by the death of this, their only child, that they never once spoke of him to the family, and took their grief to the grave. |
