Looking for Australian descendants of

-William STEPHENS originally from Cumberland, England. I have his birth year as 1884.

His wife's name was Florence Maria Bennett she was born Nudgee, Queensland, Australia 1891.

Their children all born at Nudgee, Queensland, Australia
William James born 1915
Gordon Charles born 1917
Doris May born c1920
Florence Mary born 1922

Florence Mary Stephens had 3 children that I know of.

I am looking for her daughter Teresa Mary Stephens born 1941 Brisbane, Queensland.

The last information that I have is that Teresa Mary Stephens moved to East Willoughby, Sydney in 1957.

My ex-husband is her brother and would like to find her.

Have you tried Electoral Rolls? Maybe if you made contact with one of Teresa's siblings they may know something.

Hi Denise ..... I noticed a 'Gordon Charles Stephens' (b1917) died 1988 (71yrs) ... (wife Elizabeth d 1978 (55yrs) - brother to Florence Mary Stephens.

I noticed too that 'Doris May Stephens' (b1920) - sister to Florence Mary Stephens married Willliam Keith Greaves 1940 (Marrickville).
(' Ryersons Index' has a poss death for 'Doris Greaves' 11/7/2007 (age 80) Canberra (death notice in 'The Age' (Melb) 21/8/2007)

The 'QLD State Library' and 'NSW State Library (on-line) have an 'Ask a Librarian' service ...they will check their electoral rolls -past & present ...at least up until the time Teresa may have married.
