If the spelling is Grundell instead of Cundell then a John Grundell same period committed a crime in Herefordshire was sent to Australia as a convict and remarried to form a family to this day ..Herefordshire main libary has a lot of records

I am trying to trace any Crundall folk who live in, or originate from, Herefordshire, I have traced one of my branches back to William Crundall born 1812 and his father Thomas Crundall, (my x3 g'father), both shoemakers, both from Brimfield, Herefordshire.
