I am trying to contact any descendants of Arthur Senior and Florence Isabel Rooney (my great aunt). They emigrated to Sydney from Sheffield during the 1920's and had two daughters Dorothy and Marjorie. Dorothy had three children (Susan, Owen and Christopher). Marjorie had one son. Any information gratefully received. |

Just so you can get an idea of where they were living in the 50s |

Hi Ginny. Had already found the electoral roll stuff. I think Dorothy married an Arthur James Atkins (Jim) but can find no records in the Australian BMD information on Ancestry.com.au (actually I'm not that impressed with the Aussie records. I've found a couple of errors already, e.g. sister-in-law recorded as mother !!). I would quite like to make contact with cousins Owen, Chris and Sue. I've already checked the White Pages but there are an awful lot of Atkins in Australia!! |
