Are you saying that Roy was born in the Birmingham area from 1933 to 1936?
Have you looked in people's trees on here?
Have you looked in free bmd for possible births?

The only Roy Whitman showing was born, married and died in Hampshire.
No Mavis Whitman.

Was your wife born in 1937?
Do you know the names of Roy's parents(How is he a cousin to your wife?)

Roy is cousin of (Marjorie Ainge (Nee Evans ) He worked as a butcher in the Smethwick Oldbury area of B'ham and had a sister Mavis. Also looking for his niece Gillian Johnson Who wasbridesmaid at our wedding 53 years ago. Roy would be in his late seventies and gillian about 60yrs
