Find Living Relatives

I am trying to trace Donalds first and second wives. I know that he was married to Valerie Henderson Liverpool 1961, Lynda Cooke Liverpool 1963(my mother) and Marjorie Beesley Cheshire 1968. I would like the names of the wives prior to these three. He only used his full names when marrying Lynda and Marjorie. He just used Donald when he married Valerie. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

how do you know there were two wives before that ?

do you know whether there were children ?

Please don't put the children's details here if so as they are probably still living

but if there were and you know about where and when they were born you could search for their births which would show their mothers' surnames in the index

Was Donald not born in England, there is no birth for that name from 1916 onward

maybe Scotland ? in which case the marriages could have been there

and you have to search at Scotlands People

Is Donald living ? I do not see a death for a Donald Roy or a Donald RS Macdonald in England/Wales ... if so and if the previous wives may be living it would not be proper to discuss their details here but the information could be sent to you by private message

The second two marriages you mention were in Liverpool

there are two other marriages for a Donald Macdonald with no middle initials in Liverpool ... in 1946 and 1947 ... are these possible ?

To add to my thread. Donald was born in 1932, so I would say that any other marriages would have taken place between 1948-1960.

I should note that I provided Andrew with the details of a 1954 marriage and a 1955 marriage both in Lancashire and the spouses in those marriages and a child of one of them ......... just so that no one else spends time looking for the same thing ......... since Andrew has not mentioned that ..........

Thank you Chrissie for your research. I have the marriage certificates of the three ladies in my first message, I also have Donalds birth certificate. His parents are Hugh Macdonald and Jessie Jackson, I have so far found no evidence of their marriage. How do I find out if they had other children?

did some more searching for Andrew ... had suggested two possible marriages in Lancashire he was already considering ...

there is one other Macdonald birth in Kendal just after Donald's birth that could be worth looking at; Duncan, born 1934, died 1997 in Lancaster ... different mother's surname but it could be interesting to see the father's name

no marriage for the parents named on Donald's birth certificate ( I also tried SP ) or on Duncan's birth certificate

Duncan married Dora Woof in 1957. She appears on one tree on genes, I had sent a message to that person before I buy the certificate. Duncan is not on a tree.
