Sorry for delay in replying but for whatever reason couldn't view them yesterday.The witnesses on cert were G Brook and Annie Woodward the address for both Frank and Ellen is given as Stanley Road.Frank is 22 miner his father given as Aarron Swain never managed to trace him Ellen is 19 father given as William Whitham.

Can you give names of witnesses on Ellen's marriage cert please, and an address for her if there is one.

Someone on Ancestry has parents as Sarah Ann Lockwood and William Whitham, but there is no supporting evidence.

Hello ive just posted a request and have had eight answers but don't seem to be able to view HELP

Please can you help I am looking for a William Whitham b 1831 Dodworth Nr Barnsley his parents were James Whitham and Mary.1851 census says he is living with parents and brothers Joseph b 1829 and Samual 1834 all said to be weavers.1861 a William Whitham born 1831 Dodworth is a boarder in Durham and works on railway cant find him after that.The William I am trying to trace is the father of a Ellen Whitham who married a Frank Swain in Wakefield in 1889 her fathers occupation was given as Moulder on marriage cert.Ellen had a son before her marriage to Frank Swain a Joseph William Whitham who died 1916 Flanders.

Yes i did put their names i search box but no luck.I managed to find their sister Lilly b.1897/8 had married a Joe Day in 1919 and that Maggie Swain had married a John Clayton also in 1919 i think they had a daughter Evelyn in 1920.I dont seem able to get any further.The births above are corect.Thank you .Lexie
