I did more work trying to contact family of wives of Issac's children but got no replys. Then someone contacted ME from America who has just started his Family tree and has the family Bible, there were 3 more children I did not know about. . Fantastic - I can not believe it - they found me! Yes, some of the family did move to Ohio. Thanks for all help and encouragement, Sue. |

I have just been looking for William Hughes b. June 1863. Bap. 27/9/1863 Horsley Fields Zion Church, Wolverhampton at 6 months old. Note parents marriage Dec 1/4 1862 Dudley. I can not find him after this. Not with family in Yorkshire in 1871. Presume he died but can not confirm. |

Mom can not remember the name of the people who kept in contact in WW2 but she said they sent clothing parcels and offered to take in the whole Wolverhampton family in, as they has a huge house over there in Houtzdale. Does any one know if there were many HUGE houses in Houtzdale in WW2? |

I got a lot of the above info. from Ancestary .com at the library. I have contacted the Church that I thought they would have gone to, still a live church in Houtzdale, but they had never heard of them. I have tried all names in 'search trees' but no results. Mom is not well at present but I will try to get some WW2 names. Also I will do more work with the eldest child who I'm not sure went to U.S.A. |

Hi, it's always worth checking to see if anyone on this site has them in their tree. Try putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees Box above (dark green bar) and, if you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner. |
