Looking for relatives of Irene Louise Manning

My mother - Irene Louise Manning - was born in 1919 in Wandsworth, South London. She died in 1972. She married my father - George Joseph Manning (1910-1981) - in 1938. She was apparently adopted when quite young owing to her real mother dying in St'James' Hospital, Balham, due to contracting gangrene after an arm operation. and I am at a loss as to where I look for any surviving relatives and family. I have found her birth on here and her mother's name is "Hooker". However, I am aware that my mother grew up known as Irene Louise Ware. When she married my father she was known as "Holman-Ware" and I assume "Holman" may have been her adopted family (who had a branch living in Exeter and called "Kingdom") or her father's name. Since I have no idea who my mums father was and I do not know the first name of her mother I don't know how to proceed. Can anyone help? |
