Member Since: May 2011 Posts: 3 Send Message	Can anyone help me in my search for my brother? He was born in Links Road (London) in December, 1941. His full names is Douglas Victor Manning - and I am his "baby" brother, Trevor John Manning (b.1955). Our parents were George Joseph Manning (1910-1981) and Irene Louise Manning (nee Holman-Ware, 1919-1972). We have/had 2 other brothers - Robert David Manning (1940-1994) and Brian George Manning (b.1946). When I was very young, Dougie apparently had a massive row with our father and he left the home (then at Tregarvon Road, Battersea, London). Apart from an appearance at our mother's funeral we have heard nothing about him since (now nearly 40 years). I know that he married a lady called Edith Bowman (c.1965) who lived/lives in Northumberland and that they had a son, John (b, c.1966).It appears that Dougie soon left them after the birth of their son and I am unaware if she remarried (although John still seems to have kept the surname Manning). I would dearly love to know what happened to Dougie since I cannot find anything other than his birth and marriage details. If anyone can help I would be extremely grateful. Also, how can I contact Edith, who appears to be still alive and living in Northumberland? Thanking you.
