graham, srangely i watched the film sleepy hollow last night. i thought it was a chiller film but humerous at the same time. |

pretty woman (in fact most of Julia Roberts films)...the lord of the rings trilogy.. Avatar.. most of the all singing ,dancing ones (to many to name ). could have a list a long as my arm , iris :-) |

Most of my favourites are older films, though I love The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I agree with AnnCardiff on Some Like It Hot, Singing In The Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Les Mis, and I'd also add Calamity Jane. |

We had not been to the cinema for many many years until last year. Since then we have been four times. I enjoyed Les Miserables but preferred the stage show. A Song for Marian was very good, Philomena was excellent and Saving Mr Banks was good too. |
