I love it there Ann.We went about 3 years ago when we were on holiday down there. It wasn't the best time to go as a lot of the flowers had finished or were just going over. |

We have just been to abbotsbury tropical gardens, we have been before but they are so beautiful that we couldn't resist going again. The view from the top over Chesil beach is glorious and today, although a few hazy clouds, the sun has shone again for us. At the top of the garden where we could look over to Chesil beach there were a couple of pheasants. I managed to photograph the male so when I get back hopefully I can put it on the blog |

No Ann ,I am still at home.Just seeing that the 2 trains before the one I was hoping to get had been cancelled made me realise that it would be packed like sardines with everyone desperately trying to get to London ,and I couldn't bare the thought of maybe having to stand the whole journey squashed up against other people .It would be too hot and sweaty and just not worth it.I have had a couple of nice chilled glasses of wine :-D..well I need something to help me over the disappointment :-D ;-) |

We have had trouble with a large swarm of bees this afternoon .All on the top of our chimney right on the pot :-S :-S.We lit the wood burner hoping to smoke them off plus the heat from the metal topper. They did go ,but only as far as the lilac tree. Then they vanished altogether .Just a few minutes ago OH shouted up from the garden that they were back and to keep the fire going .....just want I don't need on this hot day lol |

Yes Lesley but he might deliberately miss LOL.He is not really the killing kind but has to appear Macho :-D..He did actually get a couple of rabbits last year.My biggest concern is that he might hit but not kill and I can't bare to think of any kind of creature suffering. It needs to be a clean shot. |
