For assignment re Secrets...

Have received Jan's continuing story
Rosie's blast from the past
Ann's affair
Mau's artistic piece of work
and speak of the devil.. Dermot.

Waiting for ChAoTic, Helen, BC, and a sheep who seems to have disappeared from the flock.

I am still trying not to get people mixed up.

Hee hee Ann, I have just posted on my thread on FA

"I have been looking at the photo of my gt gt grandfather ( the aforementioned William) and 'willing' him to tell me what he knows lol :-) "

so that may be my choice of topic lol

Perse, sorry should have said. Yes had a great holiday, shame the car let us down again. Our main problem is finding out what drained the battery. One suggestion from the fellow who came out was that maybe the alarm went off for some reason and kept going off until the battery ran flat.

AnninGlos Report 28 Jun 2013 12:08

OK plenty to think about this time then (assignment 3.....sounds posh that!)

A Note from the Past
Playing in the hallway one day, your kids accidentally bump into your grandfather clock, which has been in the family for years. As it smashes into the ground, you find a note hidden inside from your great grandfather, who died two months after you were born. Strangely enough, the note is addressed to you.

The Man in the Park
You get back to your studio to develop pictures from the hour you just spent in the park. All of the pictures turn out well, except for a select few. In six photographs, there is a man in the frame. Something seems slightly off, and rather strange about each picture. Who is he and what is weird about the photographs?

Begin a story or poem with the line ( or based on) "When i was young and the world seemed full of promise"

Write a short story or poem using the following words: Time, renew, solitude, sanctuary, choice.

A story or poem about photographs, A photograph

Come on Errol, stop studying your naval and write something astounding for us. (no wooly thinking of course!)

BC go and sit in the corner and meditate. Not to worry though, write when the muse strikes again. :-D

edit: Should that be Navel???

Had trouble with our car other morning..turned the key and it just ran on and on and would not fire.. so thank goodness we have a second vehicle...

I said to OH wonder if it is flooded... no says he and tells me all about fuel injection and no carburettor as opposed to old cars that had carburettors and are prone to flooding etc

Automobile service guy came later in day and yes it was flooded. The reason being himself had backed it out the drive and it was parked outside while a tradesman was at the house. Later he brought it back in.. problem fuel got injected but not used cause vehicle did not go anywhere so it flooded. (I think I have got that right)

We must have been lucky at other times when we have done that.

Apart from vehicle trouble hope you had a good time Ann.

Perse Lol!!

Right I am almost back, need time to wake up and sort myself out. Can't believe we had the same b.... problems as we had last October, besides the fact we had an hour+ delay so didn't land at Birmingham until after midnight, the car wouldn't start because of a flat (6 month old) battery. So we didn't get home until gone 3am after getting the breakdown fellow out to start it. If the battery is flat nothing works so OH had to get into the boot to stow luggage with a tiny emergency key. Bring back the non auto locking cars of yesteryear.

I will put up a couple of new titles (or subjects) when I come round, unless anyone else has any thoughts. I will also send mine off asap. *yawn* :-)

and is Errol going to get off the grass and do something this time or is he keeping it a secret?

Does he even know that he did nothing on colour.. I thought he might have done a new version of Baa baa black sheep?
