I am way behind this time, haven't done a thing so far, too much to do before our holiday. :-)

Mmm! Emma brain fog is the trouble. You have no idea how many things crop up when you are planning to go away for 4 weeks. Well maybe you have. We've had a cistern overflow leak, a car that has had problems with the battery running down, garage couldn't find anything but a man calling himself Autoelec has just been and found two problems which he has solved. OH fixed the cistern. Now the car has to go in for its service (More money it's a merc!), which involves both of us as I have to drive mine to fetch OH back etc. Then there is the chiropodist, the hairdresser, last week the hospital check. and then daughter and her OH need a bed Friday night so the sheets have had to be changed on the spare bed etc. And it is a week before we go!!! Oh, forgot the trip to town to get euros. And the ever growing garden of course. Is the holiday worth it??? 'course it is, but we'll need it. :-D

Sorry all I haven't written anything this week ( last week lol) or managed to reply to everything sent. I'm in one of those deep dark moments when I can't put words together, too much white noise, both inside and outside of my brain!

Hopefully will pull something together for next time. Thanks to everyone who has sent work :-)

I manage to reply 90% of the time re your stories/poems.

If I have missed the odd one sorry, will go back at some stage and check.. I know there is one of Les's I haven't answered and have not listened to Stella's one yet.

Maybe it is because of the summer months but i don't seem to have had much to read lately, although poetry seems to be getting more popular and that has been lovely.... :-D

It is only supposed to be once a fortnight Stella, this is the blank week, but you have had mine and should have had something from Rosé, BC, Dermot, Mau and Les.

I think we are all a bit lethargic and it is only when one of us starts to write more the rest will follow. I have no idea where Helen is she must be on holiday.

Agree and the summer/weather/away days all play their part :- ...travelled to Rothbury last Friday, was prepared to be inspired :-) but.....

Afraid I've stopped sending out to Errol who has never responded in any way :-( not sure if he was a reader or writer?

Errol did say he is still very interested but that he had things away from Genes taking his time. Not sure when or if he will be able to join in but I have still sent my contributions to him. The same with Julie who I am hoping will come back to us, and Helen who must be away.
