My apologies ( this is getting a habit!) for not having commented on work or replied to responses to mine . Thankyou very much to all of you though. Eyes not too good at the moment from peering at family tree stuff, but will get round to the next assignment soon, not sure when it's due?

If anyone wants some ideas for first lines or subject?

Thank you Rose. The next assignment is due this weekend and I suggested a free week so if anyone needs prompts they can use yours, then we can also use yours for the next two week assignment.

Hope there are some pieces coming out to us this weekend. :-D

Have to admit I have only managed a poem. My brain just would not unlock.

Les could write a poem about his fish and the mink that killed them..

I think it terribly sad that he has lost them all..

Horrible things mink. wouldn't be so many running wild if they had not been released by animal rights people some years back.

Dear Group <3 Once more, my apologies for non contribution. Have been iinundated with visitors and am off to Ireland (my baby boy will be 40!) in a few days. But I promise, hand on heart, when I get back I shall get cracking. *hangs head in shame :-D

Have a good trip BC. Not doing so well myself with the writing because of pre holiday catch up jobs etc.

Stella I have not replied to your last e mail because of you saying my emails are blocking your inbox. I can't for the life of me see why that should be. does it give any reason. Which e mails has it happened to? The last one was just a reply to yours.


Has anyone else had a problem with e mails from me? Nobody has said so far.

I think my e-mails must have forever storage... himself has to archive his and he keeps everything and I mean everything.. I do delete lots of GR notifications, promotions and advertising malarky...


Stella is on the same e-mail system as Janet, you and myself so I would not have thought that we could create a blocking when we send to each other.

Maybe I should not reply to Stella either :-S

I've had no problems with emails Ann, I also am on Googlemail, and though I delete some emails ('promotions') I have literally thousands just sitting there, I'm too lazy to sort them out ;-)

well it seems to be sorted out now Ann, after yours eventually all came through at once... others followed..i think my connection to you must have seized up.. sorry about that... all appears to be mended now.... :-)

OK Stella, I would think the problem was with google at the time, maybe doing an update or something.

Ann sorry, I haven't used any of the suggestions for my verses, as I find I use words/phrases that (hopefully) pop into my head.
