Alittle while ago our library van man brought me a book he thought i might find interesting. Looked a bit dry ar first, but was very interesting, about the start of healthcare in this country in the middle ages until the present day. I thought i was working in good conditions, but not according to this book. Mind, I did start nursing 59 yrs ago.! |

Me too. Have read all of them, and all good. The characters lives come into it, so probably best read in sequence, but not vital. Also, being set in a lovely part of the country makes them quite atmospheric. |

Julia, her main characters are Eve, Roarke and Peabody. does that help? She is a cop in the future and is married to a multimillioaire. They have a marvellous machine which they can programme for the food they want! America of course. |

Oooh Greenfingers. I have read quite a few of her books, and think she is brilliant. Doesn't publish all that often, so I make a bee line for a copy whenever she does. |
