l have read.....'The smoke Jumper' by Nicholas Evans....Smoke jumpers are men/women that parachute from planes to put forest fires out. The story is mainly about 2 of them and their lives. Very very good:o)

'The Horse Boy' by Rubert Isaacson. True story of a fathers(the author) miraculous journey to heal his son.
An amazing book:o)

'The Grafton Girls' by Annie Groves... about 4 girls during 2nd WW. Very good read:o)

Reading now...'Blind to the Bones' by Stephen Booth. Murder mystery, also the author tends to carry over (into his next book) little bits about the police staff and their lives etc......the author lived in Derbyshire and the towns, villages and landmarks are real. Very very good, infact this is the 2nd time l've read it:o)
Next is another Stephen Booth......'One Last Breath'

jude:o)

You'll be fascinated by Cathy Glass' work Straykitten - although the title is very 'twee' , contents are serious and sad. Am looking out for more of Cathy Glass' books.

At present enjoying Eric Clapton's Autobiography, seems to be a very honest presentation, and confirms what we always suspected of our 'stars' during the 60s and 70s with regards to drink drugs and women but never knew for sure. S'wonder our older Rockers are still alive, by all accounts

Just finished Warrior Daughter by Jane Paisley - brilliant story couldnt put it down, based on authentic documentation by contmporary Roman witnesses et al during Stone Age Britain. Write some more please Paisley.

Keeeeeep reading folks
Liz
