But Agatha have you read M.c.beatons Agatha Raisin series, about an amateur detective who is definitely not a Miss Marple,,,,,,,,they are very good can reccomend them but read from the beginning.

I have just read Sheila Flanagans My Favourite Goodbye...its a typical Flanagan set in Dublin and about families and their complications. It centres around Ash a cook who does corporate meals and gets involved with a multi millionaire. She is a complex character.. its a good read

Thanks Welshbird...I'll let you know if the hints have worked next week lol.

I've just finished *The other Queen* by Philippa Gregory which was fab..as have all her books been imho.

I've a few to chose from...but I'm thinking of re reading a book I first read as a teenager...Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Däniken...it explores the idea of an extra terristrial (sp) visit to earth during primitive human times...much criticised..but when i read it as a youngster ...i felt it was feasible....interested to see if the passage of time has changed my mind or not.x

About to start on a book called
"To my Daughter In France" by Barbara and Stephie Keating. I liked the picture on the front and I was intrigued by the title.

Message for Muffy: I finished reading Jilly Cooper's 'Jump' a couple of days ago. I know slow reader. Itwas good she described National Hunt racing (which I love) very well. A bit sad in parts. I hope you get it for Mothers Day. Enjoy.

I have just started 'The reading group' by Elizabeth Noble. I have read two of her books, Alphabet weekends and The Girl next door. Both are very good especialy The Girl next door.

"Cowboy & Wills,"

written by, Monica Holloway, is a memoir about Monica's young son, Wills Price, who is diagnosed with a high functioning form of autism. This memoir can't be told without, Cowboy, a very unique dog.

The special love that Wills had with his dog enabled him to reach out to people in a way that was not previously possible because of his autism.
