Whilst in the hospital last week, I came across a book in the Day Room of the ward. It was' Iris and Ruby, by Rosie Thomas.' So I thought I would have a look at it. It is not the usual kind of book I would buy and read, but it was unputdownable. So much so, that it managed to find its way into my bag when I came home. But,but, I did leave another in the Day Room that I had finished to replace it. |

Just finished 'Before I Go to Sleep' a first novel by S J Watson. Its central character is Christine who has lost her memory and every morning she wakes up, has to fill in the blanks. Day after day! Very good plot and really enjoyed it until the middle went a big saggy. Good, psychological thriller nevertheless. |

I know it is widely available, but this is looking through someone elses eyes, its not a novel, it is giving both sides to the story. did it happen or didnt it, where is the proof? |
