Afternoon all.... I have changed my mind, lol..... I can't get the photo to look good... hubby is going to play with it on Photoshop at the weekend... so I am going to make a start on my Wedding Album.... it will have not just our wedding, but family weddings, too.... at the moment, they are scattered all over the place, but I can practice on this album... and then do a *proper* one for us later.

So..... I am going to make a start with the Bridesmaids...

Wish me luck... I want to try and stay away from bling..... but their hats/bands were swansdown, so I get to play with feathers for the first time, lolol ;¬))

Love

Hi all, I have just recieved some new markers by Letreset, called Promarkers I saw them on a craft channel.they seem very versatile, I want to stamp some background papers , so it should be interesting the Range had some Anita stamps reduced, so got a couple, also a craft shop is closing down and got a few from there... sad really I had literaly (sp) had hundreds of the stamps when I used to do cards , but got fed up and got rid of them all !!!
idiot , but I never thought I would need them again....

re; the knitting with pom-pom wool, I have made five, at first I did it the way it was shown, but it uses so much wool and was so dense, so I did less stitches and adapted the pattern so it knitted up very fast, one scarf that was made up with thicker wool had only four stitches but when it was done it was just right, the finer po-pom I did with six stitches and that turned out o k. it seems you can make hats out of the wool, but I am no knitter really, couldnt knit a garment to save my life, so I wont be doing any more, unless its a scarf....lol....

Dizzi it was a good idea making pockets, they look good....

love Jean xx

I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've done my page and I managed to work an idea I already had so that it fits with this week's challenge over on the UK Scrappers site. Think I'll leave it for tonight and get a photo of it to put online tomorrow when hopefully I'll have some natural light

I nearly used the diagonal but couldn't make up my mind, the rest of the page is straight and I thought it would be better if it matched.

Finished the one page totally, and I am really pleased with it... and have the LO of another sorted as well... I'll leave it until tomorrow before sticking... the photo isn't a wonderful quality... it seems to have deteriorated on my pc!! So I am about to start playing at grabbing a still photo from a video, this should be fun. ;¬)) If I can get a better photo, then I will use that.I was a bit disappointed about the picture quality... it looked heaps better when I printed it out last night, lolol

Ann, I had a feeling that you would

I've finished the fascinator. I'm not totally happy with the twiddly bits because the only wire I could get that wasn't too thick is a bit on the thin side so it doesn't sit as nicely as the wire I started with. I am pleased with the overall effect though.

Just trying to decide what to start now. Might do a page from my pile of 'kits'

Finished my layout and really pleased with it. Opted for straight in the end.

Hi Sarah, yes I made pencil marks and so far all is looking OK. Now just have to decide if the matted photo looks better straight or diagonal to the page.

I went out to get my jewellery wire this morning and of course came back with some papercrafting bits as well LOL

My LOs tend to have lots of bits of different papers on them Ann and I tend to have to make pencil marks so I get them stuck in the right place

I have just spotted an advert round our shops for a stamping class starting locally (at St Johns Hall Daff) I might give her a ring and see what it includes.

Well done, that is a lot in a short time, not forgetting the Valentines card.

I am in the middle of doing a page of son and Dil's two cats. They are facing each other and 'laughing' or yawning if you want to be pedantic. I didn't take the photo but as soon as I got it I had to scrap it. So far nothing is stuck down except I have matted the photo. It is going to take a bit of getting right as Under the matted photo I have at least four bits of different sized paper.

I am normally so slow with my pages, Ann. I have 8 or 9 completed ones... and 3 where I have made all the embellishments, etc etc, but there is something not sitting right with them... so I have a bag with a few pockets in them, bought it a couple of months ago... and it holds them nicely until I figure out what is wrong with the layouts... or why I can't get it to work.

These last two have been very straight forward... and I have learned a lot, so some of the things it took me days to work out how to do, I can now manage fairly quickly.... so each time I try to learn something new, as well... I'll get there in the end, lol.... it is good fun, though, and very therapeutic and calming, I find, too.

Love

Edit... I have 12 completed pages, lolol... just been to count them... I am impressed with myself, lolol ;¬)) xxx
