Yes to do with trees but also any craft, F Trees were what started me off scrap booking but that was only the beginning. I can't see what Hazel's problem is. Are the A-Zs to do with Family trees?

Jan, are you still not properly well? I hope you have not been overdoing it. Glad you like the promarkers.

Scatty Report 23 Mar 2010 17:16

Hi all
managed to hobble round Hobbycraft on sunday and found some card that seems suited to promarkers - done my first lot of stamping last night and coloured in one and love my promarkers but I need more colours :-))
Hope everyone is well- Sarah I Love your craft room :-))))

Daff I think you definitely still deserve the shopping trip, more so if anything to make up for having things go wrong.

And yes definitely a thread to do with family trees. It was my tree that got me into scrapbooking and now aside from encouraging others to present their research in a lovely way I am recording everything and anything about my life and the lives of those around me for prosperity

AnninGlos Report 23 Mar 2010 15:31

do you have a problem with a thread that so many enjoy Hazel?

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 23 Mar 2010 13:47

Absolutely, Hazel ..... we are all scrapbooking our family history and memories ready for the next generation. And some of us are novices being assisted by others....

Have you been on all the other non-geneology threads asking the same question?

I have had to cancel my appointment at the physio.... don't ask, I am spitting double quantities of feathers!!

Do I still qualify for the shopping trip, do you reckon????

I'm currently trying to balance crafting against housework, gardening and land rover club paperwork. Thankfully there won't be much in the way of club paperwork after the end of the month shame i can't say the same about the housework!

I wont be able to do craft stuff today as I will be at a meeting until 2.30, just what I need the week before we go away. Still not many more, I am giving up in August.

MrDaff Report 23 Mar 2010 09:36

I am going to be sorely in need of a treat later today... two jobs I hate, the hairdresser at 11, and the physio at 1... so a detour on the way home to Dunelm via Hobbycraft will soothe my ruffled feathers, lolol

I want some more punches... I have put the inks and stamps away until I have figured out how to use them. I have suggested that an anniversary gift like erm.... that die cutter might.... be very welcome, too......... lets see if R realises that was a hint a mile high!! The fact that I have the name of it (can't remember at the moment) pinned to the fridge door....... do you reckon he'll *get it* lolol

See you all later, must go and dig out some sporty type comfy stuff for later. Last minute Annie, me, lol

Love

Ann, Had a look at the invoice , My sale was £6.55+ £1.00 pp , I had bought off another site £15 worth pp was £6.95, I think Craftland is cheaper postage wise....Have you seen flexi peel-offs, it showed them on create and craft. I ordered some.easy to put round oval and round shapes.....

We do tend to be collectors of stuff and forget to use it sometimes don't we?? I will look out for the site Jean, looks good. can't see how they can do postage for a pound.

JustJean

JustJean Report 21 Mar 2010 12:22

Sarah, my oh is just the same, but I only bought a few bits, we go usually when its early in the year, and also at the latter end .... so its never too busy, although I have just been on their craft site and ordered some stuff, ,I couldnt believe the postage was only £1..I had about £ 15 worth so that was good, I also noticed the prices are the same as in the shop. lots of stuff £1 and lower...now I must get using all the craft goodies I keep buying.....lol.....

Jean I went in that shop last year when we went to Llandudno for the day for the transport show. Didn't buy anything because it was rammed and OH was patiently, not, waiting outside.

Have finished my tidy up and blogged the photos in the hope it will inspire me to keep it like this LOL
