Have you got a market near you Jean? glos indoor market has a haberdashery stall and they always have a basket of lace pieces on the counter. I got two pieces about a metre long each of inch wide lace for 50p a piece. I look forward to seeing that card. I have just been gathering a few bits together for when we are next away in case we get any wet days.

Funny enough Jude I could never knit a sweater to save my life....lol....dont really know why the dolls came easier for me,
I could mange those scarves on big needles, but anything smaller forget it !!I added my comment on caz s cards on the blog but for the record on here I agree with you Ann..... lovely....I have been making up some card blanks I had, so all I had to do was decorate them, so good way to experiment with different materials.... have you decided what you are going to make with all the fabric you have Jude? I want to get some wide white lace ,I am hopefully going to make a cherub cradle, instead of a christening card for my neighbours little girl....any ideas where I can get some lace?

I thought that all the cards on the site were lovely. I have just spent the evening collaging/decoupaging a letter rack. I am now looking for some inspiration re a rather exhausted looking firescreen that I bought on ebay.

I have just spent the morning colouring white peel offs, I always used fibre tip pens ,but the colours were never vibrant so I got some Dufex brush pens and they are superb and they dry instantly... so pleased with them....

I have also saved wrapping paper we sometimes get with flowers, I have some orange , and its like angel hair paper, lovely as a background, and some paper that change shades, I embossed that one and its on the cards...and its big sheets too....

Ginnie, I have all the glitter girl boards , but have trouble keeping in the channel to emboss, they seem to have no trouble at all. I have managed one or two bot
usually trace it now and the use it as a template that way I can see were to go...lol... but they are very handy....

I love the page with the photo's of the toys on.

I also thought the rose on Caz's card was decoupage, it is a beautiful card.
Lots of different cards on the blog now.

The shed card I made was done on the embossing board by the Glitter Girls and you then add whatever toppers you wish, it is a shed but it can be adapted to make a house or church just by adding card at the side, I have done both but only have a photo of the shed. The boards are really good and I have several different ones.
