Does anyone else get it wrong when buying craft stuff? when in the Lake District we went to Paper Warehouse and I spotted a punch that I thought would work as a nesting punch with one I already had so i bought it, a 2" scalloped oval, I also bought a one inch. when I got home i realised that I should have bought the 3" because the one I already have is 2". I remembered it as being larger than it is. Grrr! So daughter will gain an £8 punch now!! Never mind. the annoying thing is I still only have two to 'nest'.

Home now, motorway very busy but no hold ups our way. There were for those going north at the M5/M6 junction, a few miles of jam.

Glad you managed to comment in the end Linda.

Thanks everyone...I have managed to join and post a comment.

Jude it is a lovely card. I like the stitching idea...I may try that on a scrapbook page.

I have been spending time on Picasa...lots of cropping and changing more photos to black and white....great fun!

And very pretty it is.

Linda click on comment, write your comment in the box and then click on comment again. I think that is how it works if I remember rightly. You might have to register first. Jean may remember how she did it.

Linda....the words are worth it, pages are gorgeous. The colours gave me an idea for an Easter card for my grandson, its on the blog.
l made it with blue embossed card, l machined all round the edge with white cotton, could have been a darker colour really. Then cut out an egg shape of fabric and machined it to a piece of felt to match. l then cut a slit in the felt and pushed in some cotton wool, trying to keep it flat ish but slightly 3-d ish. Glued that to a card. Glued a bow at bottom and decorations on egg and a few round the egg too, plus a happy easter thingie:o)

Hi Ann
I think it was me that you were going to forward the book to. No hurry. But didn't want you thinking Linda B doesn't know what you are talking about.
Enjoy your holiday. I am just back from mine. Read about 4 books while I was away, but left them in the "library" there as they are heavy to bring back on the plane. Somebody else will benefit from them I hope.
Funnily enough while looking at what otheres had left.............. one book caught my eye ..................... it was a calorie counter. BUT we were staying at an all inclusive resort LOL

Linda :o) XxX

Hi Linda. Is there any chance of you taking a photo of your pages? If so I can give you my e mail address if you haven't got it so you can e mail me the photos. When I am able I can then put them on the blog. \we'd like to see your work.

And, I have finished the book I will send it next week when I am home.

Hello everyone..

I have just been catching up on the blog...I have to say all your cards are lovely. I love the butterflies Jean.

Although hindered with cataract problems at the moment (awaiting op) and getting frustrated with having one less than a reasonable good eye I have managed to do a couple of scrapbook pages this past week of our youngest grandson.... with journaling (in my fashion) on the actual pages which for me is a first! I must be getting somewhere at long last after doing alot of googling of journaling sites that is lol.
