Thanks Ann for putting the cards on your blog, I have almost run out of general cards, but have loads of christmas ones so will concentrate on the general ones now,there are so many new ideas coming out....
I also sent a e-mail to Range but never got a reply, and I had a look on their online site and it was very poor so I wonder if they are stopping doing crafts such a shame if they do... we dont have any craft shops here now but I can go out of town were there are loads...although I usually buy on line , its nice to go and browse in a shop sometime though...

Scatty .... Jan, Could you give me directions again from the motorway to the Cadbury GC I am at my daughters and trying to tell her where it is. Junction 21 then how far from there? We got to a village then hadn't seen any signs so turned round and went back to another place on the road, a large centre with a cafe and places to walk etc. We think we should have gone on further.

I wrote to the Range customer Services about my local branch mentioning that the craft stuff had been mixed up with painting stuff as if the member of staff reorganising it all had no idea what it all was. The following is the reply I had which I have also posted on the blog.

Customer Satisfaction is an area that we pride ourselves in. I would like to apologise for the experience you have highlighted, and can assure you the experience you have explained is not in keeping with our standard of Customer Care across the business.

I would like to reassure you that my investigation is still on going in order to prevent a situation like this re occurring. I would like to apologise for this rare situation and additional training shall be put in place with the member of staff involved.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you, and would like to assure you that all the points you have raised in your email dated the 8th August 2011, have been passed on to the necessary department.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you, and I hope that you will continue to be a valued customer of The Range.

I am not convinced that this is not a 'stock' reply but I am hoping that at least their attention has been drawn to it. However I also mentioned the lack of craft stock and that doesn't seem to have been addressed.

We have remarked on this on my blog but has anyone any idea why the Range is not stocking so much craft stuff these days?

Just put 16 cards on the blog from Jean, nearly all christmas cards. NO NO I don't want to think about Christmas yet, not until after our holiday.

Ann just sent some pics of Christmas cards , and alredy got orders , so onwards and upwards, Sallies cards are lovely like the last one with four toppers nice idea....so see you all later....

Thought l'd tell you what l've just done......
l looked on the Links section of my freecycle and found somewhere where l could add a message.......

l said how much l like arts/crafts but needed confidence, and how useless l am at measuring!! that there may be some area's where l could help others etc.....

oh very lovely cards, you have all been so busy.

For myself, I cut material and have started to make a cot quilt.

all 5 inch squares, making up in the raggy edge type this time
colours pink and pale blues with white spots, stripes and small checks.
size is 7 squares by 8 squares.
not for anyone special in mind. just a type of quilting I wanted to try. hence the smaller project.
