Hi
I've just had a go at using an inkjet printer to printa on PhotoFabric.
I've used the habotai silk and I'm really pleased as once you've removed the backing paper you are left with a lovely piece of printed silk.
:-D :-D :-D :-D
Of course it's only A4 size but I'm thinking of using it as a panel on a cushion.
Take care
Von

Just put a few cards on the craft blog.

Both your gifts sound interesting Ann and Von. I get so used to all the gadgets for card making and scrap booking that I forget other crafts have gadgets too. Mind you, somewhere I have got a wire winder for making those wire shapes that go on cards and I have never fathomed it out. Not really good with gadgets.

Hi Everyone
Annx those presents sound really interesting.
I'm starting a glass jewellery class in January so I'm looking forward to that.
I had quilting arts magazine on CD. Takes up less room and is much cheaper than magazines.
I also had the "Crafters guide to taking great photos"
It will help me "to make my handmade creations shine online". :-D :-D :-D
I can live in hope!!!
Seriously though there are good tips about lighting etc.
Take care
Von

Yes, my OH's eyebrows went up when I asked him for those Ann!!
The Wigjig is a small board like a pegboard with holes in and has metal pegs to fit the holes. You set out your pegs and wind thickish wire around the pegs in a particular way to make a pendant or links for a necklace.

The Wire Whacker is 2 half inch thick nylon boards about 6 inches square. You place your wire pendant or wire necklace links between them and whack with a hammer. This tightens and hardens the wire without leaving any scratches on it. This is the theory anyway as I haven't tried it yet........

Thank you Ann, enjoyed our Christmas with just the two of us but missed son in laws cooking.

So what did you all have in the craft line for Christmas?

I had two different dies to use on the cuttlebug, a small set of stamps with various 'squiggles' on them, some tags and ribbons in navy and red and three books, victorian cards, layered cards and cards with lace.

Then I went to Hobbycraft on boxing day and bought for myself another die, this time scalloped ovals, I had asked for that one but OH, always one for a bargain spotted two different ones by another make that were cheaper so got those. I also bought some promarkers as I didn't get any of those either.
