A few of my latest cards on the blog.

AnninGlos Report 31 Jan 2012 10:55

I had a look and it seems good but mostly for quilters really, not a lot on there for card makers or scrap booking, even though scrap booking is in the index. Maybe it is a fairly new site so will keep an eye on it.

Thanks Jillian, I don't think I have any of them. Just checked through all my pens and actually there were only four that had dried up and as they were Marvey whispers I think theyw ere quite old. So i'll go on storing them all flat. Not sure what Aqua markers actually are.

JustDinosaurJill Report 30 Jan 2012 17:36

I think that it is Aqua Markers that MUST be stored horizontally.J

Ann
I would never have thought have storing pens hoizontally but I bought a Marabu textile pen during the week and reading the small print it recommended that it be stored horizontally.
I think it depends on it's base.ie if it's water based the I think you store them horizontally but if they are solvent based then it doesn't matter.
Take care

MMm think I will, they do take up a lot of room stored flat. I'll look for something to put them in tomorrow. :-)

Do you find the pens dry up quickly Jean? Do you store them thick or thin side down or doesn't it make a difference?

JustJean

JustJean Report 29 Jan 2012 16:09

Ann, I have all my pens and promarkers upright in a carousel on my craft table there was a pic of it on your blog some time ago,
I have been very busy sorting various cardstock and making yet more cards, so when you want any for your blog let me know....lol...its never ending.....better than a medicine...

Not sure if Jean is around but anyone else may be able to help. Those of you who use promarkers or similar. How do you store them and do you find they soon dry up?
