Digital ScrapbookingBasically, Digital Scrapbooking is just another form of capturing & preserving ... So, naturally, the next step in scrapbooking is digital scrapbooking! ...

Digital scrapping, as far as I understand it, gives the opportunity to make your page on the PC if you want to. I don't want the programme for that, I want to try hybrid scrapping. That is to still do a page the normal way but the programme should give me backing papers and embellishments etc. I thought it was a good opportunity to try it as I had the voucher and would not be investing too much money in it. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried it. Maybe I will put up a separate thread asking anyone who knows about it to pop on here.

I too would be interested to know what the software does,Ann,
Linda, how lucky to be near to Rosemarys shop, I remember watching her on QVC, and buying some of her stuff, we are very lucky in this area as we have many good craft shops, also there are market stalls that sell crafts now,
fatal for me when" I go just to look" always manage to buy more than I should , I was supposed to be cutting back on my craft stuff, not getting more!!! but how can you resist....have a great time with your new camera,

Probably a silly question but what exactly is digi scrapping please Ann? Do you keep the pages on your pc and not in a scrapbook. Perhaps I am having another senior moment but there again I am somewhat computer illiterate although I have improved over the past few years lol.

I have seen photos and articles in the scrapbooking magazine that I buy but they seem to think I know what they are talking about lol!

Exciting times ahead with all that scrapping then Linda. I am looking forward to scrapping my Christmas photos but I am waiting until my new digital scrapping programme arrives.

I have had no craftie gifts this year...however ...woo hoo...my OH has bought me a new digi camera!

Our old digi one must have been one of the first ones on the market so you can tell how old it is. The screen is that small and with my eyes not being at their best now I had to use to the view finder (if that's what you call it)...not any more!!

As you say Ann I am looking forward to getting to grips with it lol.

I also have Christmas money burning a hole.. so weather permitting.. I am going over to Rosemary Merry's shop tomorrow...I have serious need of card and paper stock for our new grandson's first scrapbook!! Soooo many family photos which I have taken over the past month especially those of baby and his older brothers taken with their gt nana (my mum aged 88). I really cannot wait to get started again!!

Wishing you all my Very Best Wishes for the New Year.

Just used my £10 Amazon gift certificate I had from my daughter for some digital scrap book/card making software, original price £29.99 down to £11.99, free delivery so cost me £1.99. Can't be bad!

A bit different from my magic tooth fairy one then. With all my teeth problems this year it seemed very apt to be playing a board game and landing on wobbly tooth squares Lol!!!!

Glad you liked the card, posted all mine now unless I get any I haven't sent to!!

Your photo session sounded good.
