Anyone got any ideas?

A few sites you could try Sue:
memorykeepsakes.co.uk?acatolog/military.html

www.servicememories.com

www.creatingmilitarymemories.com

The last two are more slanted towards the American military but you might find something.

Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a new printer and one that can also print photos.
Just read your post LindaB and the printer you have sounds like what we need. So if it isn't too cheeky, please could I ask which printer you have.

At the moment both my son and daughter also need a new printer, so as C---T, are selling some of their printers 3for2, we thought we'd take advantage of the offer.

Thank you, Sallie.

Thanks Ann - I'll give those sites a look.

Hello all..

Sallie...the printer is a Hewlett Packard Photosmart Plus B209. It is the best printer we have ever had especially for photos.

Ann I have put the memory keepers site in my favourites....they have some lovely papers I especially like the Shadow Box paper in the heritage section. Thank you.

Good luck SueMaid.

I've had a look at those sites Ann and they are too American. We have military papers here in Oz and I think I can adapt them. I can use olive and khaki cardstock and see how I go. Thanks for your help.

Good luck finding a printer Sallie. The HP is a good one.

Sue I looked at them and the first one memorykeepsakes.co.uk?acatolog/military.html
had a union jack page and RAF rondels etc, I didn't look further but saw the UK pages and thought it was OK. I agree the others were American though.

Ann - I had a good look at the Memory Keepsakes site and it has some stuff that I can adapt and use. I'm very grateful to you for giving me the website. Thank you so much.

Ann, hope your back is easier now, I have managed to get some more pages done in the album, and made some cards too....quite enjoying experimenting with different papers and punches. vertigo permitting....so far..... little by little. I do get withdrawl symptoms if I dont manage to do something crafty... hope everyone is well and crafting away....

love Jean xx

Back not too bad although just back from town. Between us we took four more carrier bags of hard backed books to charity shops then went to the outlet shops at Glos docks where i manged to get a waterprook coat/jacket, the sort I use for shopping, in Klass for £36. I had a lot of trouble finding a coat with an inside pocket. I find it is much easier not to have the problem of a handbag, with the possibility of it being snatched and to have my large purse/cards etc in my inside pocket of my coat. But very few ladies coats are made with inside pockets these days. Usually only walking coats. anyway I got a nice red one. Then we had lunch in Wetherspoons. (I think we have shares in that place.)

Nobody crafting? I bet Jean is busy doing her memory book. I have been trying to sort some of my Family History stuff so scrap booking had to take a back seat.

Hi
Have been poorly so no scrapbooking for past 2 weeks.
Can anyone suggest where I can obtain an outline map of the UK I can use to pinpoint where OH has been on hols for his album please? Ideally one showing the county borders and big enough to fit 12 x 12 page. I have 'googled' but nothing appropriate so far. Off to catch up on H*******k as I haven't been able to do any for over 10 days so may not look in till later tonight.
Thanks
Di

Hi Gemqueen, I didn't have any luck googling either. Have you got a road map book with a map of UK that you could trace? A bit difficult I know. I'll have another think.

Dont' know if it may be of interest to anyone but I noticed in TK. M**X yesterday, large scrapbook sets for £7, I don't do it but it seemed a good price so thought I'd add here... didn't have time to look properly lol accompanied by two teenage boys :)
