You have got nothing to lose by trying it Sallie as long as it is not too expensive. |

I have just completed a page for the scrap book, this one was of 'The Week before Christmas' and it charts my day with Daff, so two photos of Daff and camera, one of my tree and one of me dressed to go out one evening that week. I am pleased with it but it is covered in glitter so will take a while to dry. |

Hello hello..... I was gutted yesterday, as Ann is aware, as I ruined a page I have been sweating blood and tears over.... I was trying to keep it simple... and ended up spilling glitter glue over the photo.... but it was a blessing in disguise, really, as I think that I am more of an OTT person in some ways...... I have done a couple of plain straight forward pages, and I am pleased with them... they were quick as well... but the special ones, I think I like to make all the embellishments etc myself... or adapt from existing stuff that you wouldn't think of using for scrapping... |

*hangs head in shame. No have not tried it yet but I did try the nestabillities that T bought me for christmas, cut out some frames on the Clutterbug, did that page today, spent all afternoon writing a correspondence magazine letter (five letters in one) and caught up with all my outstanding snail mail (all this in the last week), so when I am not scribbling for the writing group I might find time to look at the software. |

Ann I think you just need to accept that your style is to include more photos and forget minimalism. |

That sounds a good project Sarah. I have just laid out a last Christmas page, this time one of Son's cats enjoying Christmas. |

Ann, your pages are lovely.... they don't look overcrowded or overfull with photos, at all... and compared to mine, they are very minimalistic, lol. |

Of course you can join us Sara, you are very welcome. Sometimes the thread stays dormant for ages, then it perks up again as we all have a mad few moments crafting. I too make cards and scrap. Have you been scrapping for very long? What subjects do you scrap and what is your style? |

Thanks Ann, it's a bit difficult to describe and also difficult to picture someone elses work when you don't know them as everyone has their own style of working . Your pages sound like how I normally do mine as I always put more than the usual 1 photo usually at least 3 on a page so I don't expect my albums are really the standard scrapbooks, but I like them and that's my style. |

Just about to start on a 'snow' page. Bought some gorgeous 2.5inch white silky ribbon half price in the garden centre this morning, it has sparkly blue outline trees on it, would be very suitable if I can work out how to incorporate it. (3 metres for £1.50) |
