Hi Jude
ThaNKS FOR THE LINKS oops
I have found some tinies patterns and will try to make some hats the next time we go near the hospital. Have just finished a cardigan to go in my gifts box either for grandson or for the new baby expected in September.

I did take the Kindle pattern too and will look at it properly soon as it seeems to have some diffferent ideas.

Yes our grandson is doing well. He is still under the hospital for a reflux problem and will need a scan to check what is going on. But with medication he is gaining weight. Now at 9lb 6oz+. He smiles so much and its in his eyes too.

I'll try to get some photos when I have finished some things too

Hope you are enjoying your holiday Ann its awful here.

Well yesterday was awful, rain all day but Thursday and today were both beautiful, sunny, clear blue skies and warm. :-D :-D

Lovely idea to make baby things for the hospital.

Help needed please.

Our eldest daughter is expecting our first grandchild and she has asked me to knit some babies clothes, that's not a problem even though I haven't knitted for about 25 years, the problem is we don't know the sex of the baby so I don't know what side to put the buttons but in the back of my mind my mum used to say that if you didn't know the sex of the baby it was the norm to put buttons on what side please I can't remember. Please tell me I'm not dreaming this and I hope this makes sense.

Lesley,

Put buttonholes on both sides and leave the sewing on of buttons until the treasure has arrived. Sew on the buttons over the unwanted buttonholes.

Great idea Elizabeth.
I usually just put them girl side for white or non blue cardigans, as I found as a Mum it was easier to do them up that way.
Blue or boyish items obviously need the buttons male way.

Thanks for adding the photos Jude.
Have now made nine tiny hats and having a break by making a peppermint coloured cardigan, now we know the baby expected in September is a boy(fingers crossed they get it right), so no baby pink things or mattinee jackets for this one.

Hello Sheila,
Sounds as if you have been scrap booking for many years. I love it but tend to be a bit conventional with mine, I like to use a lot of photos on a page rather than just one. And I have not yet got into digi scrap booking. Although I never say no. Good to have your input.

Do any of you know if
I can make a heat pack

AnninGlos Report 7 May 2012 10:00

I don't know about the heat pack Annette but with the photo you need to sak Jude for her e mail address. Normally when I am home you send to me and I add but the download time is too long here so Jude does it for me.
