Ann
I would never have thought have storing pens hoizontally but I bought a Marabu textile pen during the week and reading the small print it recommended that it be stored horizontally.
I think it depends on it's base.ie if it's water based the I think you store them horizontally but if they are solvent based then it doesn't matter.
Take care
Von

Von, I think you are correct. Somebody on FBook sent me a link and it more or less confirms what you say.

I think that it is Aqua Markers that MUST be stored horizontally.J

Thanks Jillian, I don't think I have any of them. Just checked through all my pens and actually there were only four that had dried up and as they were Marvey whispers I think theyw ere quite old. So i'll go on storing them all flat. Not sure what Aqua markers actually are.

I had a look and it seems good but mostly for quilters really, not a lot on there for card makers or scrap booking, even though scrap booking is in the index. Maybe it is a fairly new site so will keep an eye on it.

Jude
The freebies are usually good with good explanations.
The downside is that you get lots of emails.
However I don't find it a problem as I get the ones I don't want put into spam and periodically I check out the spam in case I missed something interesting. :-D :-D
I do get quilting daily and they advertise other things as well.
We are going to the USA again this year so I've factored in a visit to some craft shops to buy the things I can't get here.
Take care

lets start the list with quite a few fat quarters of retro designs, and some route 66 souvenirs.

My niece just had a baby girl last week, so I have a reason to start a new quilted play mat. Ive already got girly coloured scraps that I can use. so today will be deciding how to fit it all together.

Very hot here the last week, not feeling very energetic at all. 32C today already
