moonbi, thanks for removing the blog address from the thread. I don't mind people being given it but I don't want it to be open to all, including non paying members who I may not 'know'. Glad you realised anyway and thanks for passing it on.

Did't go paint today. Had sore back for a few days and this morning it was really bad. Also you know those days when you need to hide from the world? Had one of those at the same time.

Popped in yesterday to unload the rest of the tubs of paint. Hubby did it and took them all upstairs for me.

Looked at the area in the front bedroom where I had painted - including the 'reveals'? Ivory Lace looks a bit yellow and I didn't want that. Need to put the second coat on the ceiling before I do anymore walls. Will see how I feel about it then but I'm a bit disappointed. It won't go to waste even if I do everywhere in something like Jasmine White.

Maybe it will look different again when I see it tomorrow. And I can always complete one wall as a feature I suppose but that sounds a little too designer. Plenty of time to decide. Lots of ceilings and walls to put the white base coat on because of the new plasterboard and skimming.

Well you don't want to be painting with a bad back so make sure it is right before you do any more.

Back still sore today but much better and I took it carefully - goes back to when I was trampolining at school and flares up occasionally. Could happen again tomorrow, next week, next year or ages away. Golly I hate painting ceilings but I did get a lot done. And I walked into the front bedroom and the paint looked lovely. Proper Ivory coloured so it obviously needed more than a day to settle to its natural shade.

Dentist tomorrow morning then house afterwards and I still haven't made the jewellery for someone to give to his wife on Valentine. Eeek. Ain't life fun.xJ

Hello all. My friend is having an 'open house' during weekends of May for the Brighton Festival for artists and crafters. If anyone lives in the area who could be interested in exhibiting, please let me know. She wants more crafters really.

Thanks, Wend

Looked at the blog and saw some more pretty cards from Jean and I particularly love your horse etching Denise.

Not sure if Jean is around but anyone else may be able to help. Those of you who use promarkers or similar. How do you store them and do you find they soon dry up?

JustJean

JustJean Report 29 Jan 2012 16:09

Ann, I have all my pens and promarkers upright in a carousel on my craft table there was a pic of it on your blog some time ago,
I have been very busy sorting various cardstock and making yet more cards, so when you want any for your blog let me know....lol...its never ending.....better than a medicine...

Do you find the pens dry up quickly Jean? Do you store them thick or thin side down or doesn't it make a difference?
