We have the pied wagtails around here, usually out in the road at the front of the house. In the Lake district there are quite a few of the grey wagtails by the apartment as they like to be around the river. They are the ones with yellow on them and I always think they should be called yellow wagtails, but they are something different. Very confusing. |

Jude I don't know.It could be.But I haven't seen it close enough The song sounds similar.It would be interesting to see if the Nightingale hovers .It doesn't say on that link.We are just in the right area by the look of things. |

Well I could have got a brilliant pic of a Heron this morning as it was perched on a ridiculously small branch of a tree at the bottom of the garden.i was already to snap..........then Chester barked :-( :-( and it took off over the hedge.I can't tell you cross i was with him. |
